PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 08, 2011 – WARRINGTON, PA - Vince Calvanese of Newtown wasn't thinking about a hole-in-one. In fact, he didn't even take a practice shot as he approached the last hole at the Steinbach Memorial Golf Outing at Blue Bell Country Club on May 16th.
But he hit the ball well–it landed 25 feet from the pin, started rolling, and then disappeared.
"I was in shock; it was pretty wild," Calvanese said. "Everybody around me started jumping up and down like I had won the Super Bowl." The A4 was provided for the golf outing–which raised $15,000 for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Bucks County–by Audi Warrington, one of the newest franchises under The Thompson Organization's family of dealerships. When asked what his wife said about the car, Calvanese chuckled. "She said, 'I guess I can't complain about you golfing anymore!'"
